What is The Friends Group?
The friends is a PTA (Parent teacher association). A PTA is a fantastic way to bring together parents, teachers and local community members to raise money and to support our school. It provides an opportunity for everyone to work collaboratively towards a common goal. All parents, teachers and school staff can get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. The children at The Flying High Academy will benefit from the additional funds it will raise, and the increased opportunity for parents to be more involved in school life.
If you become a member of The Friends you could:
Learn new skills
Meet new friends
Feel good about helping others
Be a good role model for your children
Help to make The Flying High Academy the very best it can be
The Friends group have helped to fund:
DARE for year 6
CASE for year 2
Bulbs/plants for flower beds
Defibrillator
Easter eggs
Competition prizes
