Reading for Pleasure
Every Friday in school, we have a reading and reflection session. This session is designed to get our children interested in a wide range of books and texts.
During this session, children will have the opportunity to read a book of their choice, listen to the class teacher share a book, comic or newspaper or hear a recommendation from their class mates!
Teachers will also be recommending stories to children that they have read too.

Each month, local author and our Patron of Reading, Gareth Baker takes a look at some children’s literature and provides an update video for us. He covers the plot, who the book is suitable for and a range of other details.
