Mr Gillespie's book recommendation:
My absolute favourite children's book without question is Julia Donaldson's book : What the Ladybird heard? This was the first book I brought my daughter when she was born. I have so many personal memories associated with this book. I must have read it thousands of times to the point where I practically know every word!! because of this book my daughter developed a real love of reading becoming an avid reader. My youngest daughter now loves this book too and realllllly gets involved when it comes to the farm animal noises (probably to the annoyance of our neighbour!!!) The book also shows that the littlest thing can make the biggest difference.
