Anti-Bullying

At Ladybrook, we expect all of our children to live out our core school value of care. We know that most of the time our children treat each other with kindness and respect, but we also recognise that sometimes unkind behaviour can happen. On rare occasions, this may develop into bullying – and that is something we take very seriously.

To help us tackle bullying and promote kindness across our school, we are proud to run the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors (ABA) programme. This initiative gives our pupils the chance to work together, raise awareness, and provide support so that everyone feels safe and included.

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors (ABA)

To help stop bullying and encourage kindness, we run the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors (ABA) programme.

Our Ambassadors:

  • Teach other children about bullying and how to stop it.

  • Lead anti-bullying campaigns and fun activities.

  • Celebrate differences and promote respect.

  • Encourage kindness both in school and online.

  • Listen and support children who need someone to talk to.

The Ambassadors meet regularly to share ideas, plan events, and make sure our school is safe and welcoming for everyone.

How to Become an Anti-Bullying Ambassador

To be an Ambassador, children need to:

  • Care about helping to stop bullying.

  • Understand what bullying is (and what it isn’t).

  • Work well with other children and adults.

  • Be kind, understanding, and good listeners.

  • Want to help with events and raise awareness.

  • Celebrate everyone’s uniqueness.

  • Keep the school community updated on their work.

At Ladybrook, our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are a shining example of how children can lead the way in creating a caring, respectful, and inclusive school for all.
