Who Can Help Me?

At Flying High Academy Ladybrook, keeping children safe is the most important thing we do. Safeguarding means making sure that every child is:

  • Protected from harm

  • Happy and well cared for

  • Able to learn and grow in a safe environment

We want you to know that there are always adults in school who are here to help you if you feel worried, upset, or unsafe.

Who Can I Talk To?

  • Your Teacher or Teaching Assistant – the adults in your classroom are always ready to listen.

  • Play Team – you can talk to them if something happens during playtime.

  • Any Trusted Adult in School – all staff are here to help keep you safe.

We also have special adults called Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs). They are trained to help children who may need extra support. Their photos are displayed around school so you know who they are.

What Should I Do If I'm Worried?

1) Find an adult that you trust.

2) Tell them what's happened or how you are feeling.

3) They will listen and help you.

Or you could use the Worry Boxes in your classroom or click 'I Am Worried' on the school website.

Remember – no problem is too small. If something doesn't feel right, tell somebody.

For Parents and Families

We work closely with families to keep children safe both in and out of school. If you ever have a safeguarding concern, please speak to one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads. You can also find our Safeguarding Policy on the policies page on the school website.
